Thats as much as I can tell you at the moment ..... they have a forum !!! worth a look
    http://www.guitars.co.uk/forum/ubbthreads.php

Just an update on this ----- Richard has know opened up again but instead of a lot of sale staff he is back to basics , Just Richard and Chaz will continue to operate his workshop from the same premises in the form of ?Regent Guitar Tech? plus Richard will be selling Stonebridge acoustics ....... At least I can take my guitars for a really professional set up , worth the journey

Is that a prison camp?  Looks like Guantanamo Bay.

My dear lad, open your eyes!  That, is "gods forgotten hectare" , place of sweet bliss, excessive amplification, even more excessive Drambuie consumption, revelry, and incessant complaint to the armed constabulary..

  • Some might say that it is completely idyllic then. Certainly looks about right to these jaded old peepers.

If you lend someone ?20 and never see that person again, it was probably well worth it.

  •

CB, let me ask a different way ... will you be celebrating Independence Day on the 4th?

UK probably won't ... Guantanamo prisoners probably won't ... yeah that should do it.

    Talking of Manson's

Originally they were based in Crowborough Kent prior to relocating to Devon. The Luthier who bought their old Business site was a Fine Chap by the name of Paul Richardson who started his own company "Fingerbone Guitars".

Paul became a really good friend over the years. Sadly we lost touch in 1990 and the last that I was ever able to find out was that he was now somewhere Up Country making Bespoke Furniture.

IF anyone ever gets any info I would dearly like to make contact again.

    Did someone call? :)

  • "This" as in The Guitar Grounds?

Well it was one of those germs of an idea that occasionally come good?;)
The Forum is Tiny in Membership Paul, but Massive in Spirit, Humour and Camaraderie. We do try to take a relaxed and perhaps more Gentleman's Club approach to things here?

But then...... Where else would one find a Guitar Forum that boasts its very own Weather Forecaster?

God that takes me back.... Seeing a Fingerbone in all its glory? Would you still have that superb Publicity Shot of The Fury?

  • That was it!!

Most Particularly the Red One. That Poster used to literally speak to me whenever I saw it.

Happy Days in many respects though.

I was just this morning reading an interview with another Guy that you and I happened across, John Martyn. I see that years of Special Brew for Breakfast has taken its toll.

Beautiful pictures Paul and many thanks for sharing them again.;)
