If you're just having a play it might be worth trying to connect it up to amplitube or some other similar wonder tool on the PC...
I like to spell peddant with two Ds. That always annoys them.

I like that Mark. :thumb:

If you lend someone ?20 and never see that person again, it was probably well worth it.

Nice looking bass there and good on you for giving it a go.

I've found that having some idea about the bass (and to a lesser degree drums as well) has helped me be able to communicate with band members in a more constructive way.  Of course it would help if said band members knew enough about their own instruments to know what I was on about...

Thanks chaps,

It is only a cheap entry level bass, so im not expecting anything great from it. However in less than a week i have a better understanding of sound, and i'm sure my timing has improved! Plus i'm really enjoying it too  :thumb:

I admit, I love the idea of just grooving along with the drummer and I really like the idea of having the additional fire power for beefing up recordings.

Damn You Sah!! Damn You Indeed!!  :thumb:

I certainly very much like having a bass or two around the place.

It does sound rather like Rob's "one guitar is enough" phase is fading into history...

Only because of sheer laziness Daniel :-\ The SG will always be ready for Slide Duty and the Strat for those Jeff Beck moments. That said...... IF Carol had her way.......... Oh well. :Rob:
