  • This one is simple really, looking back , what is the one guitar you wished that you never let it go !
Mine was a bit of a bruiser ,a G&L asat special , everything about it seemed to fit with me but at a bad time I had to let it go ,and really at a stupid price .
Looking back I would of found a better way rather than let that one guitar go ?? gulp, cry ,sniff

Oh and later let a 72 thinline go because I was going mad for this other holy grail (fail) guitar

    So I?m a double knob head   ??

So come on then ,tell all

  • '68 SG Custom in natural finish. I wish I had some photos handy. And to make things worse, it was back when they were worth about 1/20th of what they are now. Ugh!

These two were my favorites. If all goes well, I'll be starting a copy of that Gold Top over the winter.

  • No regrets so far for me.

I've parted with a couple of guitars and a bass or two, all of which will have similar examples come round on gumtree again if I'm patient.

Of course... having lurked on TGG for so long I've ended up nervous of passing on the more unusual of my collection!
I like to spell peddant with two Ds. That always annoys them.

  • Three really:

1974 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Tobacco Sunburst...

Taylor "Dan Crary" signature model - a real beauty - sight and sound

Fender Tele "Nashville" - my "go to" guitar. Gave it to a friend for Christmas but
wound up really missing that guitar more than I thought I would...

  • Lord - rob will remember this one as he lived the paIn with me

1983 57 AVRI strat in candy apple red - "sigh" how I miss that guitar. Best strat I've ever played bar none . Didn't know that at the time of course!!!

I've owned 2 57's since then and both have been awful.
    Damn strats!!

  • My 72 Tele Deluxe - as seen in my Facebook avatar for those of you that know me from over there!  Traded it for a new Strat in the mid eighties.  Nice Strat - I still have it but.......

I'm back - am I the same person or just a clone of myself?
