  • The bass player whom I play with raves about his friend's EC Strat. I'm not sure how old it is, as I think there are some minor variations.

    What he does rave about are the noiseless pickups, and the mid boost.

    Granted, I've never seen or played one, so I'm only going by his opinion. He is a tone junkie, so I bet he's spot on. I'd like to try one because I'm a fan of '50s V shaped necks.
