Effects / Re: Volume pedals

Yeah, Lots of difference!

If you have the volume pedal positioned before any activated overdrive / distortion pedals as you back off the volume pedal you will also clean up your sound - Positioned after distortion pedals and you will keep the amount of gain and only reduce volume.

Kind of the same thing before and after delay pedals - positioned before a delay pedal you can back off the volume and the delays still carry on repeating (i use this a lot for swell effects) - if you position the volume pedal after delay you delay will stop when the volume is off.

Electric Guitar / Re: Which one is good?
« Last post by Rob S on February 22, 2018, 09:28:54 AM »
You raise a good point there. Personally the only 2 Semi's I have ever played for any appreciable length of time were an ES345 and an ES175. Obviously the ES175 won out unplugged, but I still preferred the ES345.  ;D

The obvious answer would be to have an Electric and an Acoustic if finances allow of course. Best of both worlds. ;)

You may need to put an A-B-Y box (or maybe two of them) in front of it to switch between the different instruments going in the front end.

Are you doing this for live performance, or recording? If you're doing it for live stuff, you may want to get one of the units Radial makes to have several inputs going into a single output that will go to the pedal, then where it sends the signal.

I hope that helps some.
